The Skiing: St Martin de Belleville is often called the gateway to the Three Valleys, to us it is a skier's paradise.

Queues are minimal locally and access into the Three Valleys is superb.

With over 600 kilometers of prepared pistes and famous resorts such as Courcheval, Meribel and Van Thorens this has to be the best ski area in the world.

The slopes into St Martin are blue and red so ideal for beginners. The local area also has extensive off piste areas that are ideal for skiers and snowboarders.

Snow cannons and the local piste machines ensure that the slopes are kept in excellent condition throughout the season

Ski lifts: access to the ski slopes is by a modern eight person gondola lift that takes you halfway up the mountain where a four person fast chair takes you to the top of the ridge between the Belleville Valley and the Meribel Valley. From here you can ski down to Meribel or towards Motteratt and on to Courcheval or towards Les Menuires and on to Val Thorens.

Ski School: is situated by the start of the gondola and caters for all standards of skiers and snowboarders. The ski school also offers creche facilities and an infant ski school.

Ski shops: there are several in the village that offer equipment to hire or buy.

Cross country skiing: is from the large car park in St Martin or in Les Menuires.

Summer holidays: our chalets may also be rented in the summer when the slopes are alive with vibrant colours and are much quieter. During July and August the lifts run in St Martin two days of the week so you can go right across to Courcheval and back. On other days lifts run in Les Menuires and Val Thorens.

Walking: there are extensive trails all over the mountains, well signposted and maintained.

Mountain Biking: you can bike all over the mountains and bikes can be taken up on the lifts.

Other things to do: horse riding, quad biking, archery, tennis and many other activities are available in Les Menuires with the added attraction of a swimming pool and gym complex. There is white water rafting at Moutiers and at the neighbouring own of Annercy there is an extensive lake with paragliding, sailing, water skiing, swimming or just exploring this wonderful town.
